A long sandy spit with slow, mellow lefts and rights, a longboard beach for beginners at any tide, with the best waves at the north end. The paddle out gets harder above about 5ft. Cleanest in an easterly. Nearby, Inch Reef is a long right over rock that needs a big south-westerly swell and a north-easterly wind, breaks only a handful of times a year, and suits intermediate surfers and up.
