Hell's Mouth

A long, south-west-facing beach of sand with rock patches. Its wedgy peaks get faster and hollower towards the eastern end, where they break over submerged rock, and the western end is smaller and gentler. Fun for everyone when it’s small, and for intermediates once it builds. It works through the tides and wants a north-easterly. Strong rips and shifting sandbars, and it’s mostly flat in summer.
